What about Al Pacino (The Godfather, Scarface, etc.)? Or that the "leisure style" can be somewhat attribitued to the "cocktail and cigarette" mentality of the '50's and the 60's. And don't forget Playboy and Penthouse. Love American Style.

I'm not sure (and I don't know that the article is saying this) that SNF is the "turning point" or "only blueprint" for the lifestyle of present day Italian-American youth. The character of Tony Manero may have been stereotypical, but Tony lived at home with his parents, worked in a paint store and had dancing talent.

And even Tony saw himself as Al Pacino. Attica! Attica! Attica!
