WINMX 70'S DISCO ROOM

Hello everyone, I figured Id come over and make a post about it since I noticed word has gotton around about the place I run over on Winmx. The room is usualy open 24/7 unless my server goes down or I have to shut down my computer. It isn't a chatroom most of the time as most people over there are either working, sleeping or not at the computer. It is a place to meet up and tag file browse to get hold of alot of those hard to find disco tracks on mp3. I ususaly rotate the mp3's I create so they are always changing a few times every few weeks and new ones are always being added. I have several mixed sets and re-edits of my own in my browse as well as many entire hard to find LP's. If your looking for something specific feel free to let me know over there and i'll see if I can help you out. From time to time actual chat convos do happen about the music, etc but not often as everyone has different scheduals and are in different parts of the world. My ID over there is clubdisco1979 and feel free to private message me over there and if im around I will respond to you right away. Im usualy around off and on in the late night (west cost usa time) between 10PM and 3AM as those hours im usualy hanging out in the good ol cyber world LOL. Hope this explains more of what this room is all about and that people will know that it's not a literal "chatting" room.

What's the year on the track? I've never heard of it, is it disco from the late 70's?

Is there any way to configure WINMX so you only share files with users in the same chatroom and not all the others??

I really can't figure it out and the help site is down :cry:

K-Bee, in the room I'm efunk55 .... I am a veteran user there... To answer your question about file sharing. Not really other than to cut them off.. What I do when there are so many people in my que & one of us from here wants to download something, I start them while the others have to wait. I've fixed my (downloads per user) to a maximum of 1 file.....

If you want to change your option to this .... go to settings (on the top right) click on queing... change "maximum uploads to 1... maximum downloads to 1" that should help :)

Hi, yes that post was god awful older than hell LOL. I dont know if this was the post introducing the internet show or not (i just got an email that there was a reply to this post so dont know what it was), but if thats the case too the show is now only monthly. Winmx is dead non the less, like efunk said.
