Desperate help in looking for a song.

I first heard this song on the radio a while back and I don't remember much. I've been looking everywhere and can't find it.

The only thing I remember about it are the lyrics, "If you wanna" something, although it might be, "If you wanted to", "if you want a", or, "if you want to be".

I know that it's not, "If you want it, come and get it."

I do remember that right before the if you wanna part, the music/drums does like a "boom boom boom".

The singer is male and has female backup singers singing along.

I'm desperate to hear this song again! It would be an honor if someone found it.

Hi, It would be good to know a bit more about it, like style or possible year. I'm thinking of Modern Talking's "Do you wanna", but maybe it would be too easy as a solution...
