    Arrow Cape Cover!

Covers, they exist from the moment Music was invented or at least a few seconds later. Most of the time, the original has stood the test of time but very occasionally the cover is better!

Let me know which cover enchanted you more than the original. Everything goes here as long as it's Dance Music!

    Let the games begin:

The Specials with "Ghost Town", that weird and spooky tune that conquered the airwaves long time ago (1981)

And then centuries later it was surprisingly covered by The Prodigy

As you can see I'm not going for the obvious ones here.

    Re: Cape Cover!

Another great one is this ABBA cover. Now a lot of Rock groups have covered Disco or Dance hits, sometimes to mock 'em but in this case it's quality. A tribute from a legendary guitar maestro to his fellow countrymen. In this case it works!

Abba who wants a man after midnight >

    < Yngwie Malmsteen's powerversion!

But there's something special about the Rock version, a slight difference!

    Re: Cape Cover!

I must admit that I'd always found Donna's version of "Prelude To Love - Could It Be Magic" to be better than Manilow's original.
That is, until Trevor Horn's 1993 Re-Production of Manilow's version (Note: the Side Two, vocal/inst. mixes!!!).
    Good Lord! That's a piece of aural-heaven!

(though lightning may strike me, at any moment...)

Americano - Dalida (French version) over Alec R. Costandinos
You're The Most Precious Thing In My Life - Ajda Pekkan (French version) over love & kisses
Synergy - The Syncophonic Orchestra over Vivaldi (hee, hee... )

3 very good ones and I agree that the cover is the better one.

As for Trevorn Horn, I had never heard this remix before!
