Back in 1977, I used to go to La Valbonne, one of the best disco/clubs in central London at the time. One of the resident DJ's was "Ronnie from Romford". He was a great guy and a brilliant DJ. I still have a cassette he made for me in April 78. He used to play a version of the Rocky theme, that had a salsoul feel to it. It's not by Rythm Heritage, or the German version, or Ferguson. I cant find it on ITunes either. I know it exists . I have a scratchy version on a 32 year old cassette but would like to locate a copy. If only I knew who the heck recorded it. Anyone have any ideas?

Any chance you can post a clip from the cassette? I was thinking it might be the version by Current on Playboy, but it's not really what I'd call "Salsoul"--more of a "wah-wah" feel to it.
