iTunes does everything I need.
Long time ago I ditched my Windows Media Player and since that moment I used a lot of players. Real, Videolan, Zoom and most of the time Winamp.
So here's a quick question: what's your favourite? Are there others that are da bomb?
iTunes does everything I need.
Foobar2000 is the player of choice among audio enthusiasts, if you are looking for a music player only (not video). It is highly customizable, freeware, and there are tons of plug-ins for it. The learning curve is a little steep compared to, say, winamp - but once you get the hang of it there is nothing better. Once you have your configuration the way you want it, there isn't anything else you need to change anyway. The default look of foobar2000 is a little bland, but deviantart.com has many amazing skins which make the player look very slick. One minor drawback, it is Windows only, no Mac version. Unlike iTunes, it does not hog the resources on your computer.

- Jay, thx, I will definitely check out Foobar.
- Bruno, I know that I-Tunes is big and has many advantages. But since I don't have a Mac (yet, but I'm tempted)? I don't have an I-pod (never had a walkman either) nor an I-Phone, the big I-World is not for me (yet). BTW, I heard that a Mac can convert all the music and videodata from Windows and other applications automatically. Is that true?
