Thelma Houston's "Don't Leave Me This Way" and Baccara's "Yes Sir, I Can Boogie"

I just noticed that "Don't Leave Me This Way" by Thelma Houston and "Yes Sir, I Can Boogie" by Baccara are essentially sound-alike songs, especially at the beginning. Of course, I realize most of you are familiar with both songs and will thus be like, "No sh*t, Sherlock!" But to those of you who know your disco history well, I ask -- Did the blatant similarity between the 2 songs result in any lawsuits at the time?

And "Don't leave me this way" follow-up, "I'm here again" is also almost the same song.
