It was in the news this week. Mayor Bloomberg had his e-mail tapped with.
I had that happen to me a few weeks ago with Yahoo mail. I thought it was a worm/virus on my computer. It went through my address book and sent out junk e-mails. Then it wiped out my e-mail history/sents. I got an e-mail from Yahoo telling me it came through their system, but it didn't make the news.
I quess I'm not famous enough. :(

I doubt you'd want that kind of publicity anyway, but one thing that surprised me about that incident is that someone would be able to recognize that an email address belonged to a celebrity. Don Henley of the Eagles hired an assistant to look up things on the internet for him and I assumed all celebrities took some kind of steps to remain anonymous, but I guess not because I've also read about their cell phone numbers being leaked on the sleazy TMZ program. 6/13/2010
