A clever DJ release containing half of HALF AND HALF 's songs .
More importantly than the product therein to me
is the cover's photo shoot reminding us that outside the staged-hype, the glossy layouts , the glamor and glitz - there underneath it all were real , down to earth people .
--The disco era was a happy time for those involved and it's so nice to see this informal glimpse of Vicki Sue in particular with that BIG unbridled smile on her face (smiling smiley face times X 3 ) as evidence of that fact.
This promo jacket 's back side photo is also found within the LP itself :
A carton of HALF AND HALF cream has been strategically placed in that shot .
However its not milk the band members are drinking during this publicity shoot. ....in both photos various band members can be seen holding a can of Miller's beer (!)
