I live in Sheffield (England) but back in 1975-76 I lived in Wolverhampton and used to go to a great nightclub in Birmingham called The Romulus. It had two dancefloors with disco being played upstairs and a mix of disco and avant garde stuff (such as Bowie, Roxy Music) in an Egytian tomb themed dancefloor downstairs.

Anyway, upstairs, they used to play a nice slow, soulful record - usually one of the last ones before the end -which I have been searching for ever since with the subject chorus line :

"Just like two little cookies in a jar - that's what we are..."

This is the only line I can remember ! I have never found this song; my internet searches only bring up "Cookie Jar" by Sam Cooke - which this is definitely not. This was more in the style of Blue Magic, Delfonics or Stylistics...but who ??

Does anyone have a clue ?
