Shift is an independent, London based record label releasing electronic music and showcasing the best emerging Britsh talent. Our first installment is from Red Rack’em who has a well respected pedigree within the UK scene. Other well established UK artist’s look set to jump on board in the coming months. With numerous events across London already under our belt, we currently hold a monthly residency at East London’s favourite rave pub the Horse and Groom in Shoreditch. Our primary objectives have been to mix and match local talent with the best international talent for one big party! Previous guest have included Chicago’s finest Rahaan, New York disco legend John Morales, Red Rack’em, Andy Blake, Felix Dickinson, Severino and Richard Sen to name but a few.

DJHistory
Fasten your seatbelts, DJhistory is happy to have you aboard. We'll be cruising at an altitude of three feet or so. The weather at our destination is warm and sunny. We've phoned ahead and they're getting the cocktails ready. We've spent the last ten years working together as dance music archaeologists, digging up the bones of disco, examining the old school, and arguing over who was the first person to use 'hip-hop' in a work of detective fiction. Our website DJhistory.com is a great place to waste your workday – marvel at our monthly Mystery Mixes, pore over acid house magazine articles, commune with disco druids, or buy killer tunes from our little shop, especially Secret Weapons – our collections of exclusive rarities put together by DJhistory's clever member DJs.
