YouTube - Rufus & Chaka Khan-Dance Wit Me (1975)
Wowow. You lived a lifetime without ever hearing this Rufus featuring Chaka Khan- Dance Wit Me before?
Lesson: Eat more at Denny's~!![]()
Don't laugh. but I heard this at a local Denny's today and can't place it.
It was definitely 70's very funky about 105bpm. It had a black female
lead vocal and I think she was saying "dance with me baby baby dance with me"?? might be dance for me too? It was hard to hear. It came right after Lou Rawls-You'll never find on whatever satellite station they were playing in the restaurant, so I don't think it's that obscure.
Any help is appreciated Oh it also had a long drum break in the beginning. :)

Cerrone was on American Bandstand (backintheday), and he did this GREAT SONG I had never heard before....I went to Vinylmania looking for some French import 12".....only to find out it was "Love Is The Answer" on the flip side of his then current album....and a track I had not played.:icon_eek:
Now That's Shame.
