There was another hit from North End called "Kind Of Life (Kind Of Love)" from maybe 1980 or thereabouts.
"Lost inside adorable illusion...."
The other side of 'Happy Days', 'Tee's Happy' (named after Tee Scott, who mixed the track) was a fairly big specialist club tune in 81 here in the UK (on import). It was also an early Arthur Baker production (or rather co-production with Tony Carbone and Russell Presto - Michael Jonzun was also listed as associate producer).
Michelle Wallace, the featured vocalist on 'Happy Days' released a solo single called 'It's Right' in 82, and although Northend aren't credited, it's the same line-up behind this record (minus Jonzun). Once again it was the instrumental flip, 'Tee's Right', which took off in the clubs.
Both these tracks (along with a further Michelle Wallace release, 'Jazzy Rhythm') were on the US Emergency label.
