ID needed, Poss Byron Stingily but sounds older, Sylvester Maybe? Mid to late 80's??

Hey everybody, first of all, wicked site looks fantastic, pleasure to be on board.

My ID was on an Internet Radio Station a few days ago from a DJ LEX who plays 80's & 90's music and this came on,

Apologies for the sound quality but i only had a camera with video recording function on so the sound is poor, hopefully someone know who it is,

Ive tried the DJ Lex website but no luck, Im so hoping someone knows it in here, Hi-NRG style. Makes me smile when i hear my clip, would make my day to find the artist.

Can't quite make out the words on my clip so sorry for not much info but please listen i reckon someone will know it.

    Here it is.

The track is called 'Thinking About Your Love' & it's by Skipworth & Turner. It's from 1985 & the great Patrick Adams was behind it if I remember correctly. I always loved it 'cos it sounded more late-70s disco rather than mid-80s boogie, so it had a kinda retro style rather than being 'state-of-the-art mid 80s', if u know what I mean.

Many Many Many thanks for that SandraDee, I have located the Version i was after on Discogs after your post.

Skipworth & Turner - Thinking About Your Love (12") at Discogs

    Original Version

Fantastic Release, Are there anymore recommendations to this style? Retro 70's sound like this?. Piano Groove, Lush backing vocals and wicked main vocals. Also what is there self titled album like?

Once again thanks for letting me know. You have made my day!

My pleasure silky! I never heard the LP unfortunately. If you're not familiar already, try these 2 as i think they have similar (slightly funkier) grooves going on :

'Cant Give Her Up' has been removed on youtube but there is this track form later in '89 but it lacks that 'Patrick Adams NY disco vibe' that made 'TAYL' so special for me:

Thanks guys, DJRAZ will check out that tune,

SandraDee loved the 1st and 3rd youtube tracks you sent me, wicked Funk Disco beasts. Will look at getting the albums and checking the rest of their work.
