Sounds like - Shalamar second time around

Hi Guys,

I need some help with a tune. The backing track is basically Shalamar's "second time around" but the vocals aren't them. All I know are the words "Time, all we need is just a little more time"...

Anyone have any ideas..?

Many thanks for all the replies. It's Mr Q as suggested by one poster but I'm pretty sure the version I heard didn't have any rapping in it....Any ideas..?

I've just searched on Dsicogs and the other side of the Mr Q record is called "Love and Time" but I can't find it on You tube. Franejolifan are you familiar with the other side, perhaps it's the non rapping version I'm looking for?

I do remember a stand-alone version called Love and Time. And I'm pretty sure it's without the rapping. I don't have the record though. Maybe you could email the guy who posted Mr. Q on YouTube. He could probably verify it for you (and maybe post that version on YouTube.)

Still looking for that song? It's got to be "Love & Time," "Rapping Time" is the B-side. There's a male lead vocal on "Love & Time" and no rap. I sure that's what you're looking for. I have it here.

BUT the chorus is from this: "TIME" -Mighty Clouds of Joy; this version from YouTube combines the instrumental version first with the vocal version--the vocal starts around 3:27; written by the great Dave Crawford ["Young Hearts Run Free"/"Mighty High"/"Victim"]
