Sherlock Holmes: Elementary!

We rarely go to the theatre and when friends invited us yesterday to go watch Sherlock Holmes, I got nervous as I thought it would be another popcorn movie that was hyped to the max.

Well, it is good, it is very good! Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law are perfectly portraying the legendary Holmes and Watson. Guy Ritchie directs this adventure with class and the action is incredibly captivating.

Go and see! (do not invite me for Avatar please, I do NOT like that 1)

And there was the inevitable concept disco album called "Sherlock Holmes" in 1980 - in Latvia. The record has vocals by the choir of their symphony orchestra. Strangely, there's a track called "mafia" - do the Latvians know more about the detective and his connections with the underworld than the rest of us?
