When you go to the great Disco in the Sky, what happens to your record collection?
Do any members have their record collection written in their will to go somewhere?

The saying goes You can't take it with you, but of course you can if you want to. "You know Jussi got electrocuted to death by a Numark C2 four channer rack mixer last Saturday? Jesus what a scene. He had some wicked vinyls in his apartment, and quess what, the bastard ordered every each record destroyed in his will! Even his copy of "L'Amour A Minuit" by Jessica, can you believe it? "Creme De La Creme" by Waylon, the fcuking 12" version, his Arpadys originals, all gone. Why did he not leave them to me!? ".

The essence of my spirit was born at the dawn of time, I am all DJ's as I am none, my spirit shall exsist until the last star falls from the sky, then , I will play for Gods.

My entire collection is in my will. I have given my son an option to keep them or have them sold under the supervision of an old friend. (Don't want him to get ripped off) I do not give a **** about the cd's, not really my thing.
When I get there, heaven will be dancing. The club is called Heavens 9.

I'm with Pooch, it's part of my daughter's inheritance (along with the comic books and vintage toys....), she can either keep'em (doubtful, :icon_lol:) or under the supervision of someone I trusted, sell them off to put the grandchild thru grad school.

It's a very good question though, I've thought about it some times in my life.

Last time I asked myself this question was when Barry Lederer passed away. I remember that his records were being sold and that a lot of Disco enthusiasts were interested. I hope his huge collection has found a loving place!

It's not only the vinyls/music one collects. I think every man or women that collects something thinks about it.

If something happens to my wife or me, my 2 Godchildren will take care of it. I made 'em promise once that if they should not be interested in it, they will give 'em to people who do cherish those records. In no way I want my collection to be sold for a penny on some local flea market.

The other problem I have is my huge carmodel collection. Nobody is interested in that one. Maybe Bernie???
