ABBA makes the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame .....

As a followup to a thread from 3 months ago ( http://www.discomusic.com/forums/sho...list+rock+hall ),

wanted to update ya'll to say ABBA made the final five to be amongst the newest Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees.

They will join Genesis, Jimmy Cliff, the Stooges and the Hollies at next year's induction ceremonies.

Sadly, the nominated Donna Summer was ultimately overlooked and did not make the final five

I'm happy for ABBA ( who would have thunk it back then?)-- that one day in the future ABBA would be inducted into the ROCK & ROLL HALL OF FAME!!!! :icon_exclaim:

However, shame on them for dissing HRH Donna Summer. :icon_evil::icon_exclaim::icon_evil:

I''m surprised that Kiss & Red Hot Chili Peppers were ignored also--they were contenders--and they were very ROCK & ROLL. :icon_eek:
