Has the recent Strut label realese The Cream Of The Bosworth Library sessions been discussed here? This is the 3rd in a series containing re-issues of next-to-impossible to get "whoa - what's this!?" kind of tracks, originally recorded for incidental soundtrack material for films, ads, tv etc. The sounds vary from kickass funk, sparse electronic/moog throbs to bossa lounge to disco.
The best title on the Bosworth one is "Fillet of Soul" by Geoff Bastow, a session guitarist on many classic Munich albums and Casablanca cuts. This was made in 1975 and comes across like Silvetti meets Salsoul, very breezy and summery and lovely.
There are all sorts of interesting things on the Bosworth cd/vinyl. Those into dance ecletica should definitely enjoy it.
