70's Disco tunes with the word 'Boogie' in them

I am compiling a show for next week that will only feature tunes with the word 'boogie' in them - I might even limit to where the word appear in the title.

I've posted this elsewhere but interested to see what people would like to see played! I can usually squeeze in about 24 12" into my 2 hour show!

Only one other rule - no Baccara, BoneyM, A**a and Bee Gees!

aww, Russ ... you just kill me with your restrictions on Baccara/Bee Gees/Boney M/Abba, as I do love 'em all

For your current project, try to fit in if you can:

Boogie Down - Eddie Kendricks (1974)
    Boogie Nights - Heatwave (1977)
I'm Your Boogie Man - KC & the Sunshine Band (1977)
Boogie Oogie Oogie - A Taste of Honey (1978)

BRILLIANT!! Thanks everyone! I have about 75% of the suggestions on vinyl (including Eddie Murphy's Boogie In Your Butt!)

    I thought of

Bama Boogie Woogie - Cleveland Eaton Band
    Boogie Wonderland - EWF
The Bertha Butt Boogie - Jimmy Castor
Uncle Louie - Full Tilt Boogie
Blame It On The Boogie - M Jackson
    Jungle Boogie....

I thinks that enough for one show! :icon_lol:

Not disco, but mid tempo funk, if you don't mind that one

And I didn't know about this one, but I came across it when typing "boogie man" in youtube. It might fall into the Northern Soul category. A nice little shuffle groove.

And I typed in 'disco' and 'boogie' in youtube and came up with this nice one I hadn't heard before

And this one also came up, which I forgot about

Here's one that's a little cheesy sounding, also came up when browsing youtube.

And one last one browsing youtube. Apparently from The Gap Band, even though it doesn't sound like any of their typical Boogie funk hits.

I don't know if you're still looking for more examples. I just bought this on 12 inch, the Lollipop version.
