1982/83 - I see you pass by with your books on your way to school. This is sort of the jist of the song. It may be by a Latin group. It was played alot at the Copa in Ft. Laud and on Super Q.

I answered my own question. The song was "La Colegiala" by Gary Low. The song was in Spanish, and I don't know why I was thinking it was in English. The first line was "hoy te visto con tus libros caminando....". It came to me all of a sudden when I was falling asleep. Guess my subconscious was kicking in.
