Sylvia Love/Instant Love

I finally got around to listening to the new Harmless comp of Disco Ladies
and there was this intro of this track that I used to hear out but never knew what it was-crazy Hawiian guitar and girly whispery vocals-it used to drive me crazy.This was a big track in So Calif Gay clubs-was it played
anywhere else? It's such an odd record but it works.

I first heard that tune in 1981 I believe. It was included in the "THIS IS A TEST" medley. I did not know the artist or title till about 1987. The other fun one from her is Extraterrestrial Lover.

YES!-I have this too and it's used as part of the medley.Thanks for reminding me.This was well done by the way...

I agree!This was done very well. It is one of my favorite medley's. Some one told me it was done by Victor Flores. Victor is still around and sometimes spins at our events. www.backtodisco.com

"Instant Love" was certainly a hit in the Disco's here in Europe and even made it into the Dutch charts ..
that's why there is this video .. because a Dutch Tv-show wanted her in the studio because of her chart entry.
