I love Teena! It's also so nice to see she, like me, likes to sport the much-loved 'elasticated jogging bottoms/bed hair/spectacles/zilch make-up' look when not appearing before her public! At our age you just wanna be comfy, right girls?

And I'm glad to see she has a horn section in her band instead of just synths!
The "casual" look she was sporting isn't reserved for when not appearing before her public. Saw her on "The View" today (doing her new song and a medley of her hits) and she didn't make much of an effort. Looked pretty much like she did in the rehearsal videos. C'mon Teena, it's showbiz, at least get your hair done.
Cheers,
Tim Tam
It looks a bit odd to see her now - I had a major crush on her back in the day. But she still sounds good. I had to go look up that clip from The View, and it was great to see her with a great backing band and still sporting that powerful voice. I still love ya, Lady T!
I had the pleasure of meeting Teena, when we shared a stage with her way back in 88 or 89? in the city of Newark, at a city sponsored "Concert in the Park" Family Day event. And let's just say she was um..."feeling good":icon_cool: that day and despite a "balance malfunction":icon_biggrin: on the stage, give as stellar a performance as in any big stadium and blew everyone away, we had a great time that day! and it's great to see that she still has it, vocally and as a writer and producer, just a clear testament to true talent! Rock on Lady T!
