I accidentally bumped into Cassandra, the bleached blond singer of the 1978 Celso Valli production DISCO PANTHER last weekend while inspecting a film called EVA MAN. This 1980 piece of terrible kung fu, bad comedy and limp soft core sex - with one surprising h/c bit - stars a minor cult personality Eva Coates, born Roberto Coatti. Eva was a television talk show hostess, pin up and hermaphrodite. She/he also had a bit part in Dario Argento's widely distributed hit TENEBRE (1982) and appeared in the 1987 French/Italian/Belgian co-production MASCARA, starring Charlotte Rampling. EVA MAN opens with the star dancing and singing what appeared to be Disco Panther by Cassandra. Sure enough, the Chick With A Dick and the disco singer turned out to be the same person - blond hair, pouty lips and very big feet. As an additional piece of useful information I add that Eva/Roberto/Cassandra has the teeniest willy. You can see it presented briefly in Mascara and in action of sorts in Eva Man. Not really worth checking out, though...
