Midnight Rhythm - Workin & Slaving

Does anyone remember this heavy disco piece from I believe 1978? it was played briefly in clubs like 12 West and The Saint in Manhattan. a wall of sound indeed!

This is exactly the type of track I'd expected to be played at 12 West from what I've heard about it, along with the likes of 'Savage Lover' The Ring & 'Disco Circus' Martin Circus - that everything-thrown-in exciting proto hi-nrg sound, know warra mean?:icon_razz:

Surprised it got played at The Saint as it didn't open 'til 1980 did it?:icon_confused:

after i posted this i realized the saint wasn't open in the 70s... 12 west will ALWAYS remain as the premo disco of all time in the 70s/80s as far as i'm concerned. also really liked Flamingos.. that was a unique experience but a little too cliquey for me. 12 west halloween parties were the best. i loved 'working slaving' have a craving 2 hear it again.

FOUND it on utube - workin' & slavin' 1978 - what a great sound, the marching pulsating beat half way thru leading into the insane piano solo riff and signature screeching violins a la beautiful bend.:icon_razz:
