    Catching up with Colton Ford

So much hype, but I never really heard any Colton Ford until recently. And even though it would be easy to hate him (because he's beautiful), I think he's great. Especially this remix:

I mean, it's what we all fantasize being when we dance around in our living room singing along with our favorite divas. But he's actually being a dude. I love it.

I've been a huge fan of Colton Ford - and I've followed his career in both fields...

Bought all the 12" plus the remixes and both CDs (Tug of war and Under The Covers) and the Naked Fame documentary on DVD. I love the mix Rich Morel did on the video you posted...Pink noise rules !!!!

The guy has a beautiful voice,a fantastic body - so why hate him ??

Colton also sang lead on the 2nd Frankie Knuckles album but at the last minute Virgin decided to flush him and hire Adeva to front the project instead.

    Exactly!

He's this generation's Paul Parker (although more explicit and with less body fat.)

And with another guy, you might just dismiss him as a computer-generated narcissist. But I think he actually has talent. And lots of star quality. Surrounds himself with talented producers. And the camera loves him from every angle. Amazing.

Sadly, what I've heard of his music, I haven't really got that excited about. And I may be in the minority, but I really don't like his look - I don't find him that attractive, but that's just my opinion.

    To each his own.

    : )

I only discovered him recently. So I can't get enough. And I really like his new cd of covers. And how ripped and sexy he is in the videos. And realizing he's pushing 50. Colton Ford is THE MAN!

I was already a huge fan of Colton Ford by the time I heard his music... so when a DJ friend of mine sent me a disc with Rosabel/Mac Quayle/Al B Rich mixes of Signed, sealed, delivered (his duet with Pepper Mashay) - I knew I would love it and I did.

    Been a fan ever since.

I loved watching the extended scene from the Naked Fame DVD - where he writes & records his dance hit Everything with Scott Anderson (Solar City).

I'll have to watch that documentary. The preview looked good.

So what do you think of the Losing My Religion video? He looks kind of like a superhero/supervillain. With some Grace Jones sizzle.

A friend had sent me some test shots for the singles/promotional pics and Colton is modelling all of these outfits...So after watching the video - It's nice to know he ended up using most of them. It's also great to see them come to life !! He ended up posting them on his Facebook page.

I like the video - and the outfit is clearly inspired by Billy Zane in The Phantom...

Yes. Although Ford fills out a body suit better.

He sounds a bit like Justin Timberlake in this one:
