If we consider also the 80's releases, there are plenty. Of course most of them will fit better as Italo-Disco.
Alan Sorrenti, Figli delle stelle, 1977: a very BIG hit single, the entire album is quite disco.

    Viola Valentino, Comprami, 1979

    Marcella bella, Nell'aria, 1984

Fiordaliso, Non voglio mica la luna, 1984

Apologies for one of the worst cover ever. :-)

Hi Winepower, thanks for joining us and posting some great videos. Just a friendly note that you need to post the videos using the icon in the toolbar (second one from the right that looks like a filmstrip) and not the older code you are using. I've corrected your earlier posts, but you'll need to go up and edit your last two posts for videos to show properly. Just click on the video icon I mentioned and paste the ENTIRE YouTube url and it's done!

Thanks again, Bernie. BTW, it's Winopener... not Winepower (sorry, i don't drink any alcohol)! :)

    Four more...

    La Bottega dell'Arte, L'avventura, 1979

    Loredana Berte', In altomare, 1980

Enzo Avallone, Ti chiami africa, 1980 - typical one-shot from a sexy dancer, only for girls. Despite that, it was everywhere in summer 1980. Worth noticing for one simple thing: how many times have you heard a mandolin in a disco record?

    Umberto Tozzi, Notte rosa, 1981

    Re: Disco in Italian

Back on digging disco in italian... let's start with The "Italian" Voice: Mina.

Mina, Citta' vuota, 1978. Disco remake of a cover she did in 1963.

One year later she will really try a brand-new disco song:
    Mina - Tiger bay, 1979

Going into dance-80 territory... new wave was raging, so... some very mixed suggestions:

Alan Sorrenti, Magico di notte, 1980: no cheating, the video is the spanish version - there's no youtube video of the original italian version. Audio probably taken from a single, it fades early than the album version, no 12" version known.

    Mario Castelnuovo, Oceania, 1981

Pupo, Lo devo solo a te, 1981. Production team and label is the same as Albano&Romina, Ricchi e Poveri.

    Alberto Camerini, Tanz bambolina, 1982

    Viola Valentino, Sola, 1982

And now for some italian instrumental songs that found their way to the disco:

Rondo' veneziano, La serenissima, 1981. Probably you know the DNA version, well here's the original. This is the original video (remember, this is 1981 and merging "classical sound" with japanese cartooning was something new) and the music is the right orignal version without addition or else and at correct speed. Lots of remixed versions on youtube.

Rondo' Veneziano, Rondo' Veneziano, 1980: the single that started the group, quite a hit in italian discos in 1980.

    Giusto Pio, Legione straniera, 1982.

Alan Sorrenti, Figli delle stelle, 1977: the original version (someone has posted a latter version):

It's a real classic here and it became the title of an Italian movie in 2010. The moment when they find the 7" in an appartment and dance to the song is a very nice scene.
