Thanks, Al!
Ya'll might wanna spin "Volare" again in tribute to the late Al Martino, who passed away yesterday at age 82.
The '50s/'60s crooner (and featured performer in the 1972 classic The Godfather) became an unlikely disco star in 1975 with his disco update of the 1958 Grammy-winner for Record of the Year: Volare
RIP, "Johnny Fontaine":icon_cool:

...ya gotta beat the street......
That Disco version of "Volare" could be heard in every disco in Miami in 1976, imagine a dance floor full of latin disco dancers doing the 'hustle' all the while trying to sing along to the song in Italian, LOL, Djs used to extend this short version to keep the dancers going!
Thanks for the memories Al and rest RIP.
Al Martino also had a hit after Volare with "the more I see you"..
