    BACK, ROUND, UP, AND DOWN -- love this song, who is it??

    hey,
    i was out last night and heard this amazing track. seemed maybe like it was early 80s but i'm not sure. all i know is the lyrics were "Back, round, up, and down" -- who is this?? please help -- i'm obsessed.

    Sometimes when you put lyrics into your head, your brain automatically triggers a particular song. When I think of 'up and down', I can't stop the Young & Co chorus entering my head. LOL

    Do you have any other info for us?

    Male or female vocals? Group or solo artist? Are the lyrics from the chorus, or a verse? Any particular group or artist that it sounds familiar in style to?

    Unfortunately I was wasted, but did manage to text myself the lyrics as the song was playing so I wouldn't forget it... Who knew this song would be so hard to track down... I even asked the dj the following day and he was wasted too and totally forgot what he played. Any other suggestions would be so welcome ! xxx

    LMAO. Sounds like a good night was had by all.

    Rather than the song lyrics, maybe 'Back, Round, Up and Down' were the directions that your head was moving, whilst trying to sent a text message.

    I love the idea of you, in your 'wasted state' texting yourself the lyrics, while the DJ doesn't have a clue what he's playing and whether it's New York or New Year.

    Good shout Sandra Dee. Haven't heard that in years (they don't play it much on Radio 2). Last time I danced to that I probably staggered out of Rotters Nightclub in Manchester.

    Don't laugh, but I'll be down your way at Christmas to attend a concert at the MEN...... Miley Cyrus (Hannah Montana) !!!!!!

    It's for my 7 y/o daughter. Honest !!

    We've got VIP passes, so I'll hopefully spend the evening enjoying the hospitality.
