I'm trying to fine out what year this song was made. This is little info on the song other that it was unreleased. Discogs and AMG have no mention of is in Larue's discography.
You got to bone it like you own it
JOL, it was included in a compilation of unreleased tracks and rare edits called "Wicked Youth". You can order it from DC himself @ D.C. LaRue: Classic Recordings
DC is about to release a new compilation with remixes and other surprises and Discomusic.com will keep you posted of course.
We've just send him a mail with your question and as soon as DC gets in touch I'll let you know. But maybe other members know the answer?
Thnaks Videoskooter, really like this song all I could find out about it was it was done sometime in the early 80's after D.C.'s contract wasn't renewed by his record company.

DC has just answered your question: "Good Morning, My Love" and "Love Is An Emotion" were recorded in 1982. They were never officially released."
The reason why these jewels stayed on the shelf was that the record company (Sire) didn't believe that DC, after his Disco period, would be successful as a ballad singer. But as the songs were such a success during his performances he decided to release 'em after all as he controls the rights.
Thank you DC for helping us out and we are looking forward to your new CD!
JOL, I also moved this thread to the general Disco subforum as it is information confirmed by the artist.
Thanks greatly appreciated.

Wow! Just listened to "Love Is An Emotion". What a great song. First time I ever heard this and I really like it a lot. Too bad this was never officially released.

Was D.C. LaRue's "Move In Closer" ever officially released, outside of the 1978 Claridge Records sampler?

Stephen, sorry I missed your question here. I have asked DC and I will post the info as soon as I have it.
Stephen, DC was so kind to give the following info:
"It was officially released in early 1975. There was a two sided 7" inch single "Move In Closer"/"Temptation" and the track was also included on a Claridge Records Disco 12" Single...along with a disco cut recorded by Freddie Cannon. It was my first recording as D.C. LaRue and was recorded and released about a year before I signed with Pyamid Records."
