The album has, imo, a good break on "Computer Breakdown" but apart from that bit and the Destiny hit, not much else seems to work. The medley on side 2 is somehow lacking something, despite the catchy songs. Denise's shrill voice sort of hurts your ears, too.
There's a great mix of "Destiny" on the Italian Derby label "Beats of the Night - Studio 54 vol 2", 1980.
I've always liked it...from beginning to end.The title track is fantastic.
In fact - apart from the Tattoo man 12in - it is the only Denise McCann album I've ever bought. The fact that it was an import on Butterfly Records (as opposed to RCA Canada) - influenced me. :icon_smile:
