Vivien Vee's "Give Me A Break" from around 1981. A huge Italo-Disco song even in the U.S. Who remembers this?

I think that's the first time I've ever known an artist to leave the stage before the song ends! Was she expecting the woman who's reading the record sleeve to continue for her?:icon_confused: (poor Viv must've needed a rest after that manic dancing!) I can imagine that track sounding so uplifting & fun in a disco setting.:icon_razz: My fave Vivien Vee track is 'Destiny' from '83 - very Chic-esque & classy musically with her heavily-accented vocals giving it a certain charm. (there's a few V.Vee tracks on youtube but can't find 'Destiny' unfortunately)

Vivien Vee is/was very underrated, I've always thought. Most of her songs were catchy and you could sing along with them (even considering the bad English!) Besides Give Me a Break her other big big hit was Heartbeat (1-2-3) from 1987. Alot of the other ones are just as good though.
