It's really made a dent in the gas guzzling SUV segment by purging the road of these extinct beasts which is a good thing. I saw a clip on TV a few weeks back where they showed what happened to those clunkers... They were crushed like a can!!! The article seems to highlight the rare exceptions than the norm.
