Radio host Thom Hartmann has been playing this all week. Being a fan of FDR, I love it.

This my friends is a president who more than talked the talk as he demostrates here, he walked the walk!

This speech is after his first terms and right before his second term. In it he went after the same group who wish to destroy this nation, and in a larger sense, human civilization. They are republicans, bankers, and financiers.

Listening to the genuine excitement in the crowd, it's easy to see why he had 4 terms and why republicans wanted the term limits we now have on presidents.

It's about 4 minutes so enjoy it over and over and compare it to what we have now!

My thoughts are had FDR spoken these words today, Fox News and all the conservatives would have branded him as un-American, a socialist and evil.

You're right Bernie. The big difference is FDR wasn't afraid of that. In fact listening to FDR at the end of that speech he embraced it and knew he would come out on top to master his opponents. :icon_cool:
