...The version by Buddy Miles is a down-tempo, after-hours, morning-music, sleeze classic.
But one night at Salvation / Miami, around 6-7am on a Sunday morning, I SWEAR I heard this song by a woman. And it sounded a lot like Esther Phillips, too!
And 29 years later, I still can't even find mention of it by anyone, on any site.
Did anyone else hear this recording?
