I love, Love, LOVE this record!!! :icon_mrgreen:
It was my standard intro for Nightlife Unlimited's "Disco Choo Choo", from the day I got it.
On the downbeat of the last chorus, start the Howard Merritt remix of "Disco Choo Choo". Drop outta "Boogie Down..." after the 4th "Choo Choo" and the wicked drum solo kicks-in on "Disco Choo Choo".

Funny, I also found a copy recently. I never knew the track BITD, I even opened a thread in the "Ask" subforum after Discovering it on a mix by Discolady75 or Jussi, but it's one of those tracks to get immediately hooked on:
I haven't done much shopping lately but:

You know, the reviews at the time this LP came out were less than complementary & I haven't heard many people say they like it since (even Cerrone/Don Ray fans) but I absolutely freakin LUV this record!:icon_razz: Personally I think every track's a killer; see what you think.
...ya gotta beat the street......
When Yazoo finally made it to the U.S. they soon discovered that there was another group in Texas with the same name. I still recall that Sire went back and put stickers saying Yaz over the Yazoo on all the records and eventually changed the name on subsequent pressings.

Cool, stuff! I'd never heard the story behind it.
And they remained as "Yazoo" in the UK. While, simultaneously, as "Yaz" for the US market.
From Wikipedia:
"The name 'Yazoo', according to Moyet, came from the labels of old blues albums: Yazoo Records. Yazoo was signed to Mute Records in the United Kingdom and to Sire Records in the United States. Yazoo's initial foray into the US was disastrous when they received a £3.5 million lawsuit threat over the band's name. Yazoo renamed to Yaz for the US market because the name was already in use by a small American rock band."
