    Arrow The Green Hornet 2010!

Now, I'm excited about this 1! I really am! Could be good!

I always dug these 2 crimefighters and of course Bruce Lee was in it! And the Black Beauty car. The car will return of course!

The remake is set for 2010 and will star Seth Rogen, Nicolas Cage, Cameron Diaz and probably Edward James Olmos!

    Re: The Green Hornet 2010!

Seth doesn't fit the part!!! They should've picked somebody who was Tall, Dark, and Handsome. I'm glad they decided to go Retro with the Black Beauty, because IT WAS THE COOLEST CAR ON TV!!! Made the Batmobile look like a Clown's Car!!!:icon_lol:

But you must all remember, IT WAS KATO WHO MADE THE SHOW!!! And who else can replace Bruce Lee??? Although, people never thought that Keye Luke couldn't be replaced as Kato from the Original Serials back in the 40's. And I admit, Keye was a Great Kato!!! And for those of you who are wondering who Keye Luke is, he's the one who played the Blind Master with the white eyes on the Kung Fu TV Series, starring David Carridine!

But, Bruce took him to another level!!! Jet Li, could've been a Great Kato, but turned it down. I hope this new kid does a good job 'cause he's got some BIG SHOES TO FILL!!!

    Re: The Green Hornet 2010!

This is by...omg, Michel Gondry, the man who directed the cutesy newage fantasy The Science of Sleep, plus the Jim Carrey&Kate Winslett feelgood fiasco Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Then again, he DID do several superb Björk and Chemican Bros vids. Still, the trailer looks like it could be by anyone, with Watchowski Bros (now of course brother & sister) slo-mo effects (come ON, stuff like that by the man behind Björk's Hyperballad video, this is 2010 not 1999 -). How many films like this were there last year, this year already, and from how many did we really get our money's worth? I'd so like to like this one, just for the car and cameroz Diaz, just like I wanted to like Knight&Day...(deep, depressed sigh) :-)

Well they're saying 2011 now. Regardless, I'll wait for it on bluray. I'm skeptical about this one. Seeing the Kato character listed several places down in the cast at IMDB, I can see why Jet Li refused to play it. I would have preferred Kato was the main character in much the same way we preferred to watch the old TV show for Bruce Lee. At the very least, more than just being the Asian muscle which was also part of the underlying theme in the TV series.

    Oh please, please do believe the bad press...because it's not just bad, it's simply a w f u l
:-) with no coherent structure and no trace of anything resembling a personal touch from the once somewhat promising and interesting director. It's hard to think there actually was a director involved to begin with, not just a programming committee recycling each and every tried and tested element from previous supehero movies. All that's evident is the intent on squeezing out the max amount of cash from slaves of the multiplex. Cameron, you truly are finished (and getting a bit on with the years too be be starring in a popcorn movie aimed at 12 yrs olds), and shame on you Gondry. Another one sells his soul to Hollywood and bites the dust.

I'm with you on that one Paul!!! The Green Hornet always played it straight! Which is why it was overshadowed by Batman back in the 60's, which was very Campy, and Silly!!! Batman was more directed towards us Kids back then, while The Green Hornet was more direct towards the Grown Ups!!! Too bad it only lasted ONE SEASON........

Van Williams made an excellent Green Hornet back then. He was Tall, Dark, and Handsome!!! Bruce Lee (although we didn't know who he was back then) can NEVER, EVER BE MATCHED AS KATO!!! A true Martial Artist, who made learning the Martial Arts popular in the United States!!! Seth Rogen is just too Silly Acting for me to take Seriously!!! They may as well have asked Kevin James to play the part!!!

I even liked the Original Black Beauty better!!! They say: "Imitation is the Best Form of Flattery", but: "WHY HAVE PARKAY (which tastes like butter) WHEN YOU CAN HAVE BUTTER!?! This new one looks like a Hot Wheels Car!!!

And don't even care if it's in 3D, I'd rather pull out my DVD Box Set of the 60's TV Series, microwave some popcorn, pull out my old Nunchucks that I made out of my mothers old broomstick back in the day, and think back when life was much Simpler back in 66' & 67'!!! By the way, I was 7 years old in 67'...............boy how time flies!!!

Seth Rogen stars in the action comedy The Green Hornet and takes the action comic hero genre in a whole new direction. The film gives the back story of poor little rich kid Britt Reid who was bullied by his father until he became a petty playboy. This is not that much good but simply a nice movie.
