Carter was the guy who sang the co-lead falsetto vocals on many of the Dells hits, along with the gravel-voiced Marvin Junior. The group had various phases in their musical career, but my favourite was their disco period with Norman Harris in the mid to late 70s. They still did dance music after leaving Philadelphia, but they will forever be remembered for their ballads during the late 60s and early 70s.

I remember playing 'All About The Paper' and 'I touched A Dream' back in 1980, one of the genuine Double 'A' sided records.
'All About The Paper' was a reasonable dance track, but I preferred 'I Touched A Dream' which was a classic End of Night Smoocher, with incredibly powerful, soulful vocals.
