this show managed to capture even the interest of my partner ..... so what the heck , we've got our tickets , and its off to Hollywood !!!

I am still basking in the afterglow of this AMAZING event of last night :icon_cool: :icon_biggrin:
IT WAS FANDISCOTASTIC !!!!!!
When we first arrived and even our drive in & parking went suspiciously smoothly, I was disappointed because the place seemed to be at best a quarter to a third full ( "well not a bad turn-out for 'DISCO' I guess" I told myself)
Then we located our seats which were about in the exact center of the amphitheater and it seemed before we even really settled in The Village People started the show with MACHO MAN.
The crowd got into them .... myself as well ( especially when they did SAN FRANCISCO/HOLLYWOOD :icon_biggrin:) and it just seemed like every one all around was singing along and having a good time. Finally, I suppose it was during their last song YMCA ...that I took the time to really look around including up behind me and
to my astonishment the place had become FILLED with people :icon_biggrin: :icon_cool:
and it seemed they all were getting disco down. :icon_cool::icon_cool::icon_cool: Y-M-C-A !
The show never let up ( CHIC = superior) and neither did the jammin' crowd ... all 15,000 of us . :icon_biggrin::icon_cool:
We danced, we swayed, we sang, we jumped, we waved our arms, until the very last note of Kool and The Gang's CELEBRATION concluded the two and a half hour disco orgy.
I'm too tired now and my wig is wet to further detail it ......but I plan to later .

I also went to this excellent event. The Bowl was packed---We danced and danced and danced.
