and I apologize if it has, but it's crossed my mind several times while watching the recent Michael Jackson tributes. It's this: if it were possible for you to "absorb" the musical gifts of any departed performer, whom would you choose and (briefly) explain why....and to make it interesting let's not limit it to disco but limit it to musical performers. Since I'm already talking I'll go first: Jimi Hendrix, and anyone who's EVER tried playing guitar would not ask why. Others?
