    Angry Da BIG Brother party!

Seems that we are nearing the definite celebration of DJ Orwell! After internet identity theft, the Googlesation of the human race, while waiting for a personal chip implant we welcome a new fact. A fact that is perhaps scarier than some of you may think!

Remember: this can happen to you!

So I'm guessing when your 65 you'll reject that evil socialist government healthcare program, Medicare!
Ironically giving the selfish narrow view of many of the me/mine conservatives, living off Soylent Green will be our inevitable destiny if we remain on that path.

Not at all. Medicare and Medicaid are already USG health care programs for the elderly and disadvanted; reform and enhance them don't add another government program.

Did you know that Medicaid will pay for a cab to take a benficiary to a medical appointment? It's true, check it. If the democRats are so concerned with "reforming" healthcare why aren't they going after the Slip and Fall lawyers and corporate thieves who plunder $$$$$$ from the system every year?

This entire scam is nothing but lies and distortions. IMO it has more to do with the 70m baby boomers beginning to enter their retirement years now and living off the USG dole for the next 30 years. The only way "the system" can escape that responsibility is to have the USG take it over and ration medical care. Do we get salt with our Soylent Green?

So it's ok for YOU to get government healthcare :icon_mrgreen:

    Medicare and Medicaid are already USG health care programs for the elderly and disadvanted;

We (at least liberals) know that.

reform and enhance them don't add another government program.

Why not get rid of it? You hate government programs. Oh wait a minute, you benefit from it. Nevermind.

Did you know that Medicaid will pay for a cab to take a benficiary to a medical appointment? It's true, check it.

So...there's a problem there? I'm not even gonna check it because it's a good thing.

If the democRats are so concerned with "reforming" healthcare why aren't they going after the Slip and Fall lawyers and corporate thieves who plunder $$$$$$ from the system every year?

And how does that help those who lack or have insufficient healthcare?

This entire scam is nothing but lies and distortions. IMO it has more to do with the 70m baby boomers beginning to enter their retirement years now and living off the USG dole for the next 30 years. Huh? When you say USG you are referring to the government, right?

I couldn't disagree more with that op-ed piece. It is in fact because he embraced conservative/republican ideologies why he faces problems.

Liberals were willing to look pass his praise for Reaganomics during his campaign but I think many liberals and indepedents are tired of more of the same.

The public wants universal healthcare but Obama doesn't. I don't care what he says, which is often vague. He is your standard run of the mill politician. FDR like leadership and statesmanship is absent from this guy.

Republicans are not interested in Obama for the most part but he seems more willing to get in bed with them. You know the expression, if you go to bed with dogs, you get up with fleas.

    "The public wants universal healthcare"

Not at all. Public support for universal healthcare is dropping faster than a hooker's panties.

No point in continuing this discussion if you deny this reality.

The Anointed One has already bankrupted the USA; perhaps if he hadn't a majority of the public would support some government option. As for now they don't. Of course the fascists who run the House of democRats and the Senate can pass their decree and the public be damned.

The USA is still a center right country, not center left. BO was supposed to be "change we could believe in" not lead a regime of ivy league educated nit wit left wing elitists hell bent on a vendetta against GWB.
