Hi all,came across the site by accident and had to make myself a member:icon_razz:.Although i have not spent time browsing the site as yet, I have for over 20 years had a very keen interest in HI-NRG, I am gutted that i threw over 300 12" singles away many years ago, as i thought i would be able to find the tracks easy enough on CD( how wrong i was)
iF there are any like minded people with the same avid interest then please get in touch

Welcome fella. You're right about hi-nrg being hard to find on CD. I'd say out of all the different types of disco/post-disco genres, hi-nrg is probably the worst represented on CD. The main reason I can come up with is probably that alot of it was on very minor/indie labels whcih are long-forgotten now.:icon_confused:

oh yeah, I go to these used cd stores all the time and they never have anything, when they say international music they always been bob marley type of stuff for some reason :icon_lol:
