A couple of nice funky CDs have come out recently

Gordon Staples & The Motown Strings - Strung Out by Reel Music, the same company that put out Yvonne Fair's Bitch Is Black on CD. This album is all instrumentals featuring the motown funk brothers with strings.

Dusty Groove America has been licensing various obscure funk LPs out for release through it's own label 'Dusty Groove'. Here's one of the LPs they put out recently as a CD, Nite Liters 'A-Nal-Y-Sis'.

Glad to be of service! Normally I'm not a collector of Motown stuff pre-California move, but this particular album had some nice truly funky cuts.
