It also had a heard edge to it. It sounded like it could have been on one of those Mutant Disco or Disco Not Disco comps. It wasn't though, but just sounded like it.
I went to a used record store in 2005 and the guy at the counter was playing some disco that was blowing me away. Keep in mind this is a record store and he was playing some good records over the system, then when I ask him to sell them to me, he refuses. I try to sneak a peek at the titles and one just absolutely set me on fire! This is the description from my memory:
It was a German release from 1981. It was an upbeat disco tempo (about 125 to 130) it had the word "Spasm" on the label, which was a plain black font on a white background. It had singers that were singing in falsetto. I think it had some guitars on it as well. It was an EP of some kind as well. Sorry so vague but the owner of the shop scolded me for trainspotting in his RETAIL store. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Have you tried ebay? If the word Spasm is on the record, it might come up as a label or title if you try Ebay's search. A lot of sellers fill their auctions with tons of information about the records.
That's weird the guy at the store, a records store, would refuse to sell a record he was playing. The whole point of playing a record is to get the customer interested in buying it.

Well, I was so surprised he would say that I couldn't look at the records, that I just stood there. These were his exact words when I was looking t the records and jotting the titles down to keep track of them:
"We don't allow that in here. We don't allow that in our store. For you, it's ok, but we don't allow that in our store."
I didn't know what he meant, I was so confused. I have a poor short term memory, so I have to write things down. I would have paid him good money for that record. It was right up my alley. Best record I ever heard in my life.
