In 1974 The Supremes were in Brazil to perform some shows and one member of the Supremes said ''we were not in Woodstock 'cause we were not invited''.

it's always been my favorite rockumentary, and the "Woodstock then and now" special VH1 is running is very good. I admire the performers who now admit they were high though it's pretty easy to see that when you watch the film. Carlos Santana said he was watching Sly and the Family Stone from the side of the stage and "there was steam coming off Sly's afro". I'm glad I wasn't there, though.....I don't enjoy crowds that size and all the inconvenience. My friends and I used to attend similar "package shows" but on a much smaller scale (1 day long) produced by Bill Graham at the Oakland (California) Coliseum called "Days on the Green". Packages would include Fleetwood Mac, Peter Frampton, Little Feat, Eddie Money and lots of other Bay Area and British acts.
This is us in 10 years.
