Hi Disco People!

I have been searching for an instrumental track that starts out with 4 measures of piano(latin/salsa). The piano breaks on the 3rd beat of the 4th measure, then full orchestra with percussion, bass, piano comes in with dominant trumpet(definetly salsa not disco).

I though it may have been Fania All Stars but I've searched high and low and cannot ID this tune.

This track was played at many Discos in Mahattan, Bronx, and I spun this song in Queens, NY, possibly between 76-78, and I believe the band that performs this song played at a New Years Eve concert in Manhattan(approximately 77-78???). I was at this party but too many years have gone by to remember the venue or the band.

Anyway, I'm on a break from school and this website has been a blessing with all the grooves and info from the Glorious Disco Days.
