Both cueing lamps on my technics (1200) are burned out. How easy are they to find and replace. Is something that should be done professionally? Also, how long should these turntables go before having them serviced? Thanks
Segue, thread moved to the appropriate subforum where your question will have more luck.
Bulbs seem to be easy to find, and fitting them well it really depends on your ability and confidence to do the job, I've never replaced a bulb myself but I'd have a go at it, as it look relatively simple thing to do, going by this youtube clip:

Servicing 1200/1210, I don't really think they need servicing unless you work them really hard in a club, or are a mobile DJ, or you abuse them, I use my 1210's for home use and I'd only get them serviced if they went wrong, my 1210's are still going strong without a service after 21 years.
