No, it's not the Kane song. That has, what I would describe as, an 80s sound, like it could've been in an episode of Miami Vice.
No, the song I heard was more...shall we say...more of a Cerrone/Love & Kisses sound.

Could be "Fire In My Heart" by K Darling from 1983. It's a Hi-NRG song with a female vocal style similar to Linda Imperial meets Bonnie Tyler. Has some nice electric guitar riffs as though it could have come from the Streets of Fire soundtrack.
