Owner of Adam's Apple, NYC Disco was found murdered.

Here's the story..

I don't know the man or the disco, but I wanted to post this in case some others did.

I believe it was because of the Adam's Apple that Van McCoys music partner Charles Kipps , learned of a certain dance dominating the dance floor .... told Van about it who then wrote a little number about it and the rest is disco history.

Kipps was tipped off about the dance from Adam's Apple resident DJ David Todd .... who would go on to become a major disco force at RCA records

It was his remix that turned a wimpier version of Evelyn Champagne King's SHAME into :

He would also come to mix some of Van McCoy's material :

If there is a lovelier, more heart-rendering disco composition than that

... I am not aware of it ...

This man had a very interesting life.
