    Disco Medley ID

    Hi again
    I'm looking for a (bootleg?) disco medley from 1981 I guess.
    The mix started with Queen's another one bites in the dust along some dog's barks. There on the mix were Stacy Lattisaw's Jump to the beat, Change's a lover's holiday, S.O.S. band's Take your time, Crown Heights Affair's You gave me love, Gonzalez's I haven't stopped dancin' yet, John Davis & the monster orchestra's Ain't that enough for you with some police siren effect.
    Any clue the name of that medley?

    This was a plate mix from 1981 (Similar to Bit's & Pieces). It was called Another One Madley. The sound quality wasn't that good. But the mixing was very well done.

    I've got another one, with the same tracks. It starts with a dog barking to the beat of Another One Bites The Dust. The dog stops barking when Freddie Mercury sings "Oh Shut Up".

    From memory.... 'Ain't That Enough For You' was mixed into 'Come Into My Heart' by USA-European Connection, the words 'Come Into My' were then repeated again and again, mixing into Dan Hartman's '10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1' countdown from 'Instant Replay'. (Quite sad and worrying that I remember that from something I haven't played in about 25 years).

    I seldom use my turntables now, but the details are:

    Title-Manhattan N. 1 Time-11:25 Year-1980 BPM-120

    It's on Disco Sample Records Inc and is listed as a Special Discomix Studio Sample Production, Manufactured and Distributed by Disco 80 Records Inc. Serial No. SW57. Made in USA.

    12" Single, 33 1/3 RPM, in Luminous Green Vinyl

    The follow up - Manhattan N. 2 is on the same label. Serial No: SPL5220

    I haven't come across that one on the net, but there are loads similar, on mp3raid.com or youtube. Just do a search on 'STUDIO 54' or 'DISCO MEGAMIX' etc. If you don't know how to convert youtube videos to mp3 let me know. It's very simple.
